Mobile Tire Changes Anywhere in the Metro

Memphis roads are hard on tyres. Freeze-thaw cycles open potholes on the older surface streets every winter, the construction corridors shed fasteners and debris, and the industrial routes around Lamar and Getwell carry the kind of traffic that leaves things on the road you do not want in your tread.

We come out and fit your spare, in a car park, a driveway, an office lot or on a shoulder. Roadside work on an interstate is done with warning lights and cones deployed, and wherever possible we change the wheel from the side away from traffic.

Why Roadside Tire Changes Go Wrong

Three things account for most of it. The spare has been in the boot since the car left the factory and is flat, tyres lose pressure sitting still, and nobody checks the spare. The jack is missing, or the car came without one at all, which is increasingly common on vehicles sold with a sealant kit instead. Or the locking wheel nut key has vanished, which turns a ten-minute job into a specialist extraction.

Telling us which of these applies on the phone means the technician arrives with what the job actually needs. And if the tyre is damaged in the sidewall rather than punctured in the tread, no plug or sealant will make it safe, that tyre is finished and the spare goes on.

Space-saver spares are temporary. They are typically limited to around 50 mph and a short distance. Fit one to get to a tyre shop, not to carry on your week.

Before You Call, Check

Do you have a spare, and is it inflated?

Is the jack and wrench still in the car?

Do you have the locking nut key?

Is the car on level, firm ground?

Is it a space-saver or a full-size spare?

Is the sidewall damaged or just the tread?

How it works

STEP 1

Tell us what you have

Spare, jack, locking key, and where the car is sitting.

STEP 2

Safe setup

Lights, cones and positioning before the jack goes under the car.

STEP 3

Wheel changed

Spare fitted, nuts torqued properly, pressure checked.

STEP 4

Or towed

No usable spare means a tow to a tyre shop instead.

Frequently asked questions

What if I do not have a spare tire?

Then there is nothing to fit, and the answer is a tow to a tyre shop. Many newer cars ship with a sealant and compressor kit instead of a spare, and sealant does not work on a sidewall cut or a large gash. Say so when you call and we will send a truck rather than a technician.

Can you repair the flat instead of fitting the spare?

A clean puncture in the tread area can often be repaired, but properly, which means demounting the tyre and patching it from the inside at a shop. Roadside plugs are a get-you-home measure at best. We fit the spare and you get the tyre repaired properly.

Is it safe to change a tire on the shoulder of I-240?

It is one of the more dangerous things a driver can do, and people are killed doing it every year in the United States. If the flat is on the traffic side, or the shoulder is narrow, stay in the vehicle with your belt on and let a truck with an arrow board handle it.

How far can I drive on a donut spare?

Check the sticker on the spare itself, but the usual limits are about 50 mph and a short distance, far enough to reach a tyre shop, not far enough for a road trip. Handling and braking are meaningfully affected.

Can you get a locking wheel nut off without the key?

Often, with extraction sockets, though it destroys the nut and occasionally marks the wheel. Tell us on the phone so the technician brings the kit.
